How to Create a Maintenance Request
Follow these steps to submit a new maintenance request:
Navigate to Maintenance Requests:
- Click on Maintenance in the left sidebar
- Select Maintenance Requests from the menu
Start a new request:
- On the Maintenance Requests page
- Click the Add Maintenance Request button
Complete the request form:
Fill out all required information
Provide detailed description of the issue
Add any relevant photos or documents
Assign a Priority
Assign a Category. Categories allow our AI to set a score and determine the urgency of the request
Review your submission
Click Submit to create the request
How to View All Maintenance Requests
Follow these steps to access your maintenance request dashboard:
Navigate to Maintenance Requests:
- Click on Maintenance in the left sidebar
- Select Maintenance Requests from the menu
Review your requests:
- The Maintenance Requests page displays all open requests
- View request status, priority, and details at a glance
- Sort and filter requests as needed
How to Set a Priority for a Maintenance Request
You can set or modify a maintenance request's priority using either of these two methods:
Method 1: From the Dashboard
Access the quick menu:
- Locate the maintenance request on the dashboard
- Click the three-dot menu icon in the right corner
Update the priority:
- Select Modify Priority from the menu
- Choose the appropriate priority level
Method 2: From the Maintenance Request
Open the maintenance request:
- Navigate to the Maintenance Requests dashboard
- Click on the specific request to open it
Make the priority change:
Click the Edit button
Locate the Priority dropdown menu
Select the new priority level
Click Save Changes to confirm
The dashboard will automatically update to show the new priority level.
How to create a Maintenance request category
Navigate to Categories:
- Click on Maintenance in the left sidebar
- Select Maintenance Requests from the menu
Create a category
Click on Add a new category button
Fill out the category Title and provide a description.
You can assign a category while creating maintenance requests
How to Close a Maintenance Request
Follow these steps to close an existing maintenance request:
Navigate to the Maintenance dashboard:
- Click on Maintenance in the left sidebar
- Select Maintenance Requests from the menu
Update the request status:
- Locate and click on the specific maintenance request
- Find the Status dropdown menu next to the Edit button
- Select Closed from the dropdown options
- The request will be automatically updated
Note: Once closed, the request will move to your closed requests history.
How to Convert a Maintenance Request to a Work Order
Follow these steps to convert an existing maintenance request into a work order:
Navigate to the maintenance request:
- Click on Maintenance in the left sidebar
- Select Maintenance Requests from the menu
- Locate and click on the specific request
Initiate the conversion:
- Click the Convert to Work Order button
- The conversion wizard will appear
- Complete the conversion:
- Follow the on-screen prompts
- Review the work order details
- Confirm to create the new work order
